Your grade for this course will be based around a semester project (including proposal and progress updates), a tutorial of how-to replicate the project, and a discussion of a research paper (100 points)

Two-page project proposal & presentation: 10 points (5 for proposal; 5 for presentation)

In-class progress updates: 16 points (4 @ 4 points each) 

Final Project-Tutorial: 22 points 

Final project-Paper/Presentation: 44 points (12 for presentation; 32 for writeup)

Research paper discussion: 8 points
